Is LifeVac single use?

LifeVac can be used multiple times during the same emergency. However, once your LifeVac has been used, we recommend replacing the device before using it on another person for sanitary reasons.

Can I use LifeVac on myself?

Yes, LifeVac can be used on yourself, making it vital for those who live alone.

At what age can LifeVac be used?

LifeVac is intended for use on adult or pediatric choking victims who are at least 1 year of age.

Does LifeVac expire?

While the LifeVac device itself never expires, our mask manufacturer recommends replacing the masks every two to three years, or by the expiration date on the packaging. We also recommend periodically inspecting the masks and the suction unit for any signs of wear, defects, cracks, or discoloration.
